Code Enforcement
Division Overview
The Code Enforcement Division enforces all matters dealing with illegal parking on private property, inoperable or unlicensed vehicles, accumulation of trash or debris, grass / weeds growth, graffiti, illegal sign placement and a variety of other exterior property maintenance issues.

Three are three ways you can make a property nuisance complaint:
  • You can make a complaint by calling the Code Enforcement Division at 217/892-6840 or 217/892-6853.
  • You can fill out and submit our on-line Nuisance Complaint Form.
  • You can download a paper copy of the Nuisance Complaint Form, fill it out and bring it into our offices located at the Municipal Building, 333 S. Tanner St., Rantoul, Illinois 61866.

Annual Free Dump Day
The Village of Rantoul along with C & S Waste Services, offers an annual Village-wide free cleanup day where you can bring any of the above items (with the exception of electronics) to a designated site for disposal at no cost to you. Please watch the local newspaper or this website for information regarding the dates, times, and location of this annual service. In order to participate you must reside within the Village of Rantoul and you will be required to bring a copy of your utility bill that shows you pay for garbage service under the Village's single-hauler waste service contract.
