Liquor Advisory Committee

Committee Details

The Liquor Advisory Committee advises the Mayor and Village Board by reviewing all proposed changes in the Village Liquor Ordinance Code, and by providing a research source for drafting liquor-related Ordinances and policies.

Illinois Liquor Control Commission

Establishments that wish to serve liquor within the Village must first apply for, and be granted a liquor license from the Village. Following the issuance of a Village Liquor License, establishments must then apply for a State of Illinois Liquor License through the Illinois Liquor Control Commission (ILCC). An ILCC Liquor License is required before any distributor can bring alcohol to the premises for service.

Committee Meetings

The Liquor Advisory Committee meetings are scheduled as needed, and they are held at the Village of Rantoul Municipal Building in the Conference Room located at 333 S. Tanner Street, Rantoul, IL 61866.
